How Dimzang Labs handles information you share with us through this website.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Dimzang Labs Ltd ("Dimzang Labs", "we", "us"), a health technology and biotechnology company based in Accra, Ghana. We decide how and why the information described here is used, so we are responsible for it under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). For any question about this policy or your information, email dimzang.labs@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you use the contact or partnership form, email us or call us, we receive what you provide: typically your name, email address, organisation, role, areas of interest and your message.
- Technical and security information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic request data, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. When you submit a form, your IP address is also used to limit how many messages can be sent in a minute. Cloudflare keeps request and error logs for a short period and then deletes them automatically.
- Your preferences. Your browser stores your cookie choice and, if you use it, your "Pause animations" setting, so the site remembers them. These stay on your device. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not run analytics on this website, and we do not build profiles of visitors or make automated decisions about you. We do not ask for health information through this website. Please don't send personal health information, or anyone else's personal information, through our forms or by email.
Why we use it, and on what basis
- To reply to your enquiry and continue any conversation you start with us. We do this with your consent, which you give when you submit a form or contact us.
- To consider and manage partnership, research and business relationships that follow from your enquiry. This is necessary to take the steps you ask us to take, and is in our legitimate interest in running the company.
- To operate and secure the website, including preventing spam and abuse. This is in our legitimate interest, and yours, in a safe website.
- To meet legal obligations, for example if the law requires us to keep or disclose information.
We only contact you about your enquiry if you've agreed to it. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our communications. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
- Email. Our company email is provided by Google (Gmail). Messages and form submissions sent to us are stored there.
- Hosting, security and forms. The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes request data to serve and protect it. When you submit a form, Cloudflare passes your message to our company email; the website itself does not store it.
- Spam protection. Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not an automated program, is sending the message. Turnstile processes technical information about your browser and device for this check only.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights, safety or security of Dimzang Labs or others, or to a successor if the company is reorganised or acquired, in which case this policy would continue to apply.
International transfers
Google and Cloudflare may process information on servers outside Ghana. We use established providers that apply recognised security and data protection safeguards, and we use them only for the purposes described here.
How we protect it
- The whole website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and browsers are instructed never to connect without it.
- Form submissions are sent straight to our inbox and are not stored in a database on the website.
- Forms are protected against automated abuse with rate limits and spam checks, and only accept submissions from this website.
- Access to enquiries is limited to people at Dimzang Labs who need it to respond.
No system is perfectly secure. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will tell you and the Data Protection Commission as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and for any period the law requires. We then delete them. Security logs held by our hosting provider are deleted automatically after a short period. Preferences stored in your browser stay there until you clear them.
Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and for a copy of it;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information, or to stop or restrict using it;
- object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time (this doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it).
Email dimzang.labs@gmail.com to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on it, and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if our practices change, for example if we introduce analytics or a new form provider. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change significantly affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
